Funding Opportunities for EV Charging
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) offers funding opportunities for electric vehicle charging stations through an initiative called TxVEMP. Nearly $87M in funding is available for FY23, and funds are allocated based on priority area locations, and project categories. Funding could cover up to 100% of incremental cost for government entities, and up to 75% for non-government entities like registered businesses.
